Pare Labs, Inc. (“Pare”, “we”, “us”) provides software for hospital and surgery center supply chains. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, pare.health, how we use it, and the choices you have. It does not cover the Pare product itself at app.pare.health, which is governed by the agreement between Pare and the facility that uses it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us through the form on this site, book a call, or email us, we receive what you send: typically your name, work email, phone number, facility name and location, role, and anything you write in your message.
Information collected automatically. This site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the site is used and how it performs. These collect page views, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and performance timings. They do not use cookies and do not build a profile of you across other sites.
Information we do not collect. This website does not ask for, and is not designed to receive, protected health information or any patient data. Please do not send it to us through this site.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and arrange the conversation you asked for.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To keep the site secure and to detect abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run this site and respond to you, such as our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel), our form provider (Formspree, which receives and stores what you submit through the contact form), our scheduling provider (Cal.com), and our email provider (Google Workspace). Each is bound to use the information only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of Pare, the facilities we work with, or others.
4. About the Pare product
Facilities use Pare under a written agreement that covers how their data is handled. In summary: the facility owns its data, Pare uses it only to provide the service, it is not used to train models shared with other customers, it is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it is deleted or returned on request when the agreement ends. Pare signs a business associate agreement where one is required. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.
5. Retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a record of our business relationship, and then delete it or anonymize it. Analytics data is retained by our provider according to its own retention schedule.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will honor requests as required by the law that applies to you.
8. Children
This site is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Links to other sites
This site links to services we do not operate, such as our booking calendar and our LinkedIn page. Their privacy practices are their own. See our Terms of Service for more on third-party services.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
